Covid Update for January 3, 2021

Church Family,

The Leadership Team for The Church at Spring Hill has been evaluating the spread of Covid in our community. As we monitor this on a weekly basis, we decided to modify our Kids Ministry for this Sunday only (January 3, 2021).

For this Sunday, The Kids at Spring Hill will meet online only at 9:45am. Katherine Reed (our Kids Director) will be broadcasting from our Kids Facebook Page. Parents, if you haven't already, go ahead and "like" the Kids Facebook Page and enable notifications for when they go live.

Our 9am and 10:30am worship services will continue as normal with our health precautions in place, including social distancing, masks available for those who want them, and limited community touch points. We do ask, if you have any symptoms related to Covid or have been in contact with anyone with Covid, to please participate in our online worship options.

To recap, below is the schedule for this Sunday (January 3, 2021) only:

  • 9am -- Worship Service In-Person
  • 9:45am -- The Kids at Spring Hill Online
  • 10:30am -- Worship Service In-Person and Online

Jess Rainer

Jess Rainer is the Lead Pastor for The Church at Spring Hill. He has previously served on staff for three churches, two of which were new churches. He is also the co-author of the book, The Millennials. Jess received a B.S. in Finance from Murray State University and an M.A. in Christian Education from Southeastern Seminary. Jess is married to Rachel and has four children: Canon, Will (now with the Lord), Harper, and Collins.

Jess loves being a husband, dad, and pastor. When he’s able to squeeze in some time between these three things, you’ll find Jess working on Rainer Publishing, a small publishing company that he started with his brothers. If it’s a Saturday in the fall, Jess will be cheering on the Crimson Tide. And at some point in the year, you can find Jess on a Florida beach or snow skiing down the closest mountain.
