Baptism Sunday // Go and Pray

This Sunday is Baptism Sunday! I hope you come ready to celebrate as a brother and sister-in-Christ take this important step in their relationships with Jesus. For those of you who attend the 9am, be sure to watch the baptism on the live stream at 10:30am.

For the past 2 years, we have read the same verse at the end of each worship service. Matthew 9:35-38 has become the heartbeat of our church. We have been praying that the Lord of the harvest would send out workers to the helpless and confused; to the distressed and dejected. I want to take this prayer out from our walls to the neighborhoods around us.

Starting on May 2nd, we are going to Go & Pray. For 3 months, we are going to send out 3 teams of two each week to prayer walk the neighborhoods around our church facility. Our goal is to pray for 1,000 homes during those 3 months.

I want you to be a part of this initiative. I want every person in the church to go at least one time during the 3 months. Your commitment is less than one hour on one Sunday to walk and pray. That's it! We'll give you all the information you need before you head out on your week.
